In our world...

At this very minute I am realizing that yet again....blogging takes up more time than I have to spare these days.  Between work, school, gymnastics, horse lessons, chorus, Girl Scouts, family life, friends, etc. my plate has runneth over.  I mean, I know there are plenty of you out there with far busier lives than me, but sometimes I don't know how to do this all and keep my wits about me. Some days I feel full of energy; nothing's gonna get me down!  Other days I catch myself steering the car into the Starbucks drive-thru, narrowly missing hitting a few pedestrians just to get my "fix" so I can continue on my merry way.  And don't even get me started on my house.  I try so hard to clean this mothereffer clean and for what?  We're just gonna mess it all up again.  Doug wisely pointed out to me last week that there is a BIG difference between having a dirty house and a messy house.  Ours is just messy he pointed out to me.  Dirty it is not.  That did make me feel slightly better.

 Our Brownie girl :)

Some love knows no bounds.  We cannot explain why Gingie loves Pinchy but she is always near his side...

 Our sweet Daisy girl!

The girls' school had an Art Fair.  The art teacher took one piece of art per child and had it matted and framed for parents to purchase.  I LOVE this idea!  Great way for your children to have their art proudly displayed in their homes and the school makes some extra cash.

My favorite picture of Gingie...EVER!  I wanna squish her head off....

My mom recently visited for a girls only weekend as Doug was out of town.  We snuck out for an afternoon of bowling.  We all had a really good time!  Delaney invented the "lasso" which is her signature move when you do well after a frame.  Had a whole lot of lassoing going on that day.  Just watch out for Delaney, she is definitely the most competitive bowler in the family....outside of her father.
