Zoo Days

Today, with the weather being so nice out, we packed up and headed to the zoo. We have a family pass so we go pretty frequently. It felt like a rare treat that we got to see the lions & their baby cubs. They were soo cute!

Elle's Birthday Party

On Sunday, we attended our friend Elle's 4th birthday party. It was a party at the park with bobbing for apples and wagon rides. The kids also wore their Halloween costumes. All except Hadley that is! She had a wardrobe malfunction and was unable to wear her costume this day. The kids had a great time and we were happy to be included on Elle's special day!

Delaney & Carter

This past weekend, my parents spent the weekend in Cartersville in their camper. Naturally, since we live very close by, we went and spent the day Saturday visiting with them. Delaney was invited along with my nephew, Carter, to spend the night. Just so you know how exciting this was for Delaney, this was her first sleepover away from home and it was with her Nana. All in all from what I've been told, the sleepover was a success! Above are some pictures I took of Carter & Delaney playing & hanging out together. Two peas in a pod!

Petting Zoo

Here are the petting zoo pics from Pettit Creek Farms. This was the favorite thing for both girls I think. We call Delaney our future vet because she has quite the love for all animals and seems to have a way with them. Hadley was cute; every time the goats licked her hand while attempting to get their food, she would giggle. So cute! Okay, enough blogging for now...I'm off!

Pettit Creek Farms

Today we took the girls to Pettit Creek Farms. This is our 3rd year in a row of going. We really like it there. They have a pumpkin patch, pony rides, hayrides, inflatable bouncies, corn maize, and petting zoo. This weekend they were also having a craft festival. The girls had such a good time! I will do a separate post of the petting zoo because I think it was the biggest hit of all. The maize was fun; Hadley started out walking but ended up riding on Daddy's shoulders because she was tired. Delaney was really cute; she picked out the pumpkins for her and Hadley to take home and she found the tiniest cutest lil pumpkin for Hadley. What a great day it has been!

Roasting Marshmallows

Saturday night Delaney got her first taste of roasting marshmallows to make smores. And boy were they delicious! Of course all Delaney really wanted to eat was the chocolate but kept insisting on roasting half the bag of marshmallows. So we were feeling generous and decided Buddy should have a few marshmallows too! That dog is still scouring the backyard in search of more!

Sweet Hadley

I absolutely LOVE these pictures of our Hadley girl! She's so darn sweet in them I could squeeze her! She has quite the love for balloons! I couldn't resist sharing with all of you.

A "Tiger" in the making?

On Friday, Delaney went to Charlie's birthday party which was a putt-putt party at Mountasia. She's never done putt-putt before but as it turns out, she really likes it! We played the course two times and actually wanted to do a third but we had an agenda so I promised her I'd take her back another day. Is she a Tiger Woods in the making? Umm..I think we have promising aspects in other career fields but it's safe to say not golf :)

This is a video clip for Nana & Papa to prove that Delaney is FINALLY driving her Barbie Jeep that we've owned for almost 2 years now! Better late than never I guess.....enjoy!

Cagle's Dairy Farm

Today, we headed over to one of our favorite spots, Cagle's Dairy Farm. The last time we went, Delaney was probably 19-20 months old so it's been a while. Still the same old place though. They have their dairy tour where you get to go on a hay ride and tour the farm. Once the tour is over you get to feed the calves (Delaney's favorite part). They also have a corn maize which we've never done yet due to the size of their maize; not sure we're ready for such a big maize yet! They have a pumpkin patch, pony rides, and two air trampolines which we definitely had fun playing on. It's fun, especially for the kiddos! I look forward to going back when Hadley is a little older.
