This year we spent Easter at Nana's House. We packed up the entire house (or so it seems) and headed south. Carter & Delaney had lots of fun dying their Easter eggs. They've become pretty good over the years and the adults have gotten smarter about it too. Instead of using coffee cups for the dye, we actually bought plastic cups to ensure that at least most of the eggs wouldn't crack. You can never be too careful though! The big Easter Egg Hunt was fun too! Carter was on a mission to get as many eggs as possible while Delaney was just happy to have eggs to hunt. Hadley chilled on the sidelines; happy to be a spectator. She was more happy though when Delaney shared a few eggs for her to chew on (because we have to put absolutely everything in our mouth). Of course, we couldn't wear our really cute Easter dress thanks to the weather. Another chilly Easter here; second year in a row. Overall, it was a fun day for the kids! Thanks again Nana for EVERYTHING!

Okay, I'm new to this whole blogging business but I figured it would be easier for me to keep friends & family up-to-date with what's going on in our day-to-day lives this way. I wanted to share this picture of Hadley taken a week ago playing on our back deck. I cannot believe she will be 1 in less than a month. It's seems like she was just born! I love how BLUE her eyes are in this picture with her blue outfit on. I smile every time I look at this. She was having a blast playing, eating sand, trying to keep up with her big sister, DD. Who knew you could love the second child just as much as the first? I suppose Hadley is a keeper! :)
